Running 2 mile on a monitor is not terrible. They incorporate that in the monitor events. 3 or 4 miles, yikes. 2, extremely doable. Think of it as two 4 lap groups.

Oh man, ns loved running on the track. My specialty in college to be the 10k, therefore 25 laps. When we need to do the 2 mile operation on a track together opposed to a down and back, I malfunction the run into quarter mile increments. I do 12 laps the the track sometimes when injured - I normally sprint so do much much shorter distances.

I break it down as i go. Because that 8 laps, focus very first on doing 2 laps. Great, you're 1/4 there.
